We think of cleaning the house as mundane.
Cleaning is what we try to do as little as possible, not because we're managing our time well but just because we don't like it.
We wish someone else would clean our house. We wish there was a system that would make housework take little to no effort.
It's no wonder that, stuck in a bad attitude about cleaning the house, we never get any traction in keeping it clean.

We shouldn't be as bristly as our brooms while doing them.
There is satisfaction to be had in housework if we have a heart for it.

"I am (was?) a hot mess homemaker, but I have really grown a lot since I enrolled in Simply Convivial. I can see it, my family can see it, and it feels good."
"If I can even change one small thing every week or two, it is a win for me."
— Meghan S.
Keep your home mostly clean,
most of the time.
Together, over six weeks, we'll address every major area of our home and design a realistic plan for keeping on top of the space.
By the end of six weeks, your husband will notice a difference in your home or your money back.
"I have a hard time resisting the temptation to quit when I don't feel I am living up to the standard I want to be at.
"The Simply Convivial courses have helped me see how overwhelm and perfectionism are both temptations to be unfaithful to God and doubt His goodness and reliability."
— Jen W.

Yes. Not only will be slowly but steadily and systematically address the trouble spots in your home, we'll also tackle why your home got out of control and begin addressing the underlying issues as well. Learning to not be frustrated by chores that don't stay done is a huge part of being the kind of person who tidies up naturally.
Maybe. If you have no trouble keeping it clean consistently, then you probably don't need this course. However, if you get your house reasonably clean with boom and bust cycles, then this course will help you break out of that pattern and not be overwhelmed by doing it all, all at once.
Yes. We'll tackle your bad attitude about cleaning (which I shared for many years myself!) while doing the work. Heart change is where the lasting change begins in our homes.
Doing the lessons and associated assignments (ie cleaning) will take on average about an hour a week. By the end of the 6-week program, as the habits stack up, you'll be spending about 20-30 minutes on lessons per week and 45-60 minutes cleaning and tidying per day. Our goal is to keep our daily home maintenance routines at about 60 minutes per day when all added up.
Whether you register for Sweep & Smile alone or enroll in Simply Convivial Continuing Education, we have a 30-day no-questions-asked 100% refund policy.
On top of that, we are so sure Sweep & Smile will help your real life situation at home that we extend our policy. If, by the end of Sweep & Smile, your husband doesn't notice a difference in your home, we'll refund your registration or enrollment. Husbands are some of our biggest Sweep & Smile fans.
